Hunting ISIS to the End

Archive Text

Last week, U.S. forces teamed up with Iraqi security to hit ISIS where it hurts—targeting the remnants of the terrorist group still lurking in the region. You might think that with ISIS’s so-called "caliphate" gone, the fight’s over. But let’s be real—ISIS didn’t vanish into thin air. They’ve been hiding out, regrouping, and trying to rebuild what was lost. And that’s exactly why these joint operations are so important. The job isn’t finished, and it sure as hell isn’t time for anyone to take their foot off the gas.
The U.S. and Iraqi forces are hunting down the last pockets of ISIS resistance—sleeper cells, hideouts, you name it. These guys are still trying to destabilize Iraq and the region, hoping for another shot at power. We can’t let that happen. These operations are about putting the final nail in the coffin.
Sure, ISIS doesn’t control territory anymore, but that doesn’t mean they’ve stopped being a threat. If we don’t keep the pressure on, they’ll regroup, recruit, and before you know it, we’ll be fighting the same fight all over again. We’ve been there before, and we don’t need to go back.
So, while some people like to pat themselves on the back for defeating ISIS, we’re out here making sure they stay defeated—because that's the only way to guarantee we don’t face another nightmare down the road.
